Formula 1 – Azerbaijan Grand Prix Predictions & Tips

The battle continues with the leadership of the drivers championships and there’s only 2 names that spring to mind right now, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton! Both men have won 3 races a piece so far this season and with the thrills of the Canadian GP behind them June the 25th brings F1 back to Europe with the Azerbaijan GP.

12 points separates the two men currently as the Formula One season edges closer to the half way point and you have to wonder if anyone else looks set to challenge them as they make their way clear of the pack with Bottas being closest to them currently on 93 points. So with that in mind it’s pretty safe to say that if you are gonna lay your money on anyone, the choice really has to be Hamilton or Vettel?

Hamilton’s Mercedes will be put to it’s paces to keep Vettel at bay and it would seem that the teams problems back in the Monaco Grand Prix are long behind them as the car looks far more stable and reliable thankfully, also riding high off the success of a tremendous win in the last race Lewis’ confidence will be up there in coming days up until the race.

Vettel cannot by any means be written off though, and obviously he hasn’t been, don’t forget his performance which gifted him driver of the day in the Canadian GP saw him start the grid P2, drop down to 18th and incredibly finish the race in 4th position, that takes some doing by anyone’s standards!

Formula 1 2017 Monaco Grand Prix Betting Odds and Predictions

The eagerly awaited Monaco GP returns this month much to the delight of many Formula 1 fan and here at Lagersport we have bought you the best online odds for the occasion.

And one of the biggest questions on everyones lips in this seasons street race spectacular has to be:

How will Jenson Button do?

The glamour and celebrity status race sees the return of Jenson who is standing in for Fernando Alonso whilst he’s off racing in the Indy 500.

Button who retired only 6 months ago from the circuit say’s the opportunity is a bit “surreal” but the chance was one he could not turn down and considering he is still contracted for McLaren til 2018 no minor formalities stand in the way of him taking part in the biggest race in the Formula 1 calendar.

The 37 year old has not raced the new McLaren MCL32 which has been plagued with issues all season but he remains confident that he can pull it off.

Bookies are not overly optimistic of a Jenson Button win at Monaco but what about you? How does 300/1 sound for him to win it?

Remember this man knows this track very well, this will be his 17th race on the street tarmac, and he also took a chequered flag here away back in 2009 so maybe, just maybe, with a little bit of luck and a whole lot of racing experience (which without a doubt he has) there is possibilities here!

So what about some odds for the other drivers:

Lewis Hamilton 5/4 Sebastian Vettel 11/8 Valtteri Bottas 8/1 Daniel Ricciardo 12/1 Max Verstappen 14/1 Kimi Raikkonen 14/1 Sergio Perez 150/1 Nico Hulkenberg 200/1 Estoban Ocon 250/1

Kell Brook v Errol Spence Jr – Who’s your money on?

Kell Brook heads out on the 27th of May to defend his IBF title against Errol Spence Jr.

Mandatory challenger Spence takes on Brook who moved down to welterweight to defend his belt at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane stadium.

Though the “special one” may just face a bit of a struggle in his hometown against a rising star who has a perfect 21 fight record.

Spence has always had a solid body punch and has impressed observers with his hand speed but what will hold him back is a lack of experience when it comes to taking a good swing from an opponent, something which Kell could take advantage of provided the drop in weight doesn’t hold him back.

Spence realistically hasn’t come up against an opponent like Brook and he will be wanting to hold a solid defence against the world champion.

So far the biggest challenge Spence has faced is Chris Algieri and he won that but Algieri lost in the past has lost to the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan.

That said don’t underestimate Spence, the guy can box and although Brook is a big test for him you can guarantee that this is going to be one hell of a fight!
