Kell Brook heads out on the 27th of May to defend his IBF title against Errol Spence Jr.
Mandatory challenger Spence takes on Brook who moved down to welterweight to defend his belt at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane stadium.
Though the “special one” may just face a bit of a struggle in his hometown against a rising star who has a perfect 21 fight record.
Spence has always had a solid body punch and has impressed observers with his hand speed but what will hold him back is a lack of experience when it comes to taking a good swing from an opponent, something which Kell could take advantage of provided the drop in weight doesn’t hold him back.
Spence realistically hasn’t come up against an opponent like Brook and he will be wanting to hold a solid defence against the world champion.
So far the biggest challenge Spence has faced is Chris Algieri and he won that but Algieri lost in the past has lost to the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan.
That said don’t underestimate Spence, the guy can box and although Brook is a big test for him you can guarantee that this is going to be one hell of a fight!
